First of all, I need to apologize to the owner, in that it was my intention to post something far sooner (our stay was actually about 2 years ago), but at the time we were living overseas and then ended up shortly thereafter returning to the US.

NOW for the review. To say that this house exceeded our expectations, particularly for the cost is an understatement. It truly made a fantastic vacation that much better. The home itself is very tastefully furnished, with a full (kosher) kitchen and everything a family could need. With young children it is helpful to have a kitchen, and there was everything we could have needed. My wife and I shared one of the bedrooms at the end and our three boys rotated in the other two rooms. Everyone slept comfortably and there extra blankets and pillows (because the weather was inconsistent this time of year). Even one night, a friend from Tel Aviv came out with her son and spent the night on the pull out couch, which they said was more than adequate. Additionally, the owner was very helpful making sure the tempature was just right, which required someone even having to come over and make changes. (again this was the weather not the property!). My wife is the one who did all of the communications re: the arrangements, but she was very happy with the responsiveness and helpfulness of the owner.

As for the location, it could not have been better. The property is located in a small pedestrian only orthodox community. It is quiet, safe and even a playground/park accross from the home. You are a short drive/cab ride from most of the things in the city you would want to see, including the Old City. In actuality it is even walkable if you are up for a little exercise. Perhaps the best aspect to the location is the proximity to Mahane Yehuda (or the "Shuk"), which is the giant open air market for the city. As a result of literally being a 1-2 minute walk, each day/night we could walk over and buy fresh and amazing foods for our meals. It is so easy to walk, you can go by fresh goods immediately before preparing your meals.

Finally, I think the cost, for the location, amount of room, quality of property, is truly unmatched. We continue to talk about the property as a highlight of the trip. The only possible downside, is that parking can be a challenge, but we did not find it too difficult. Would stay here again for certain and recommend strongly.
